Well I think I've decided what I'm going to do this summer. I'm going to go to Guatemala and learn spanish for about 6 weeks. This is a much cheaper and more effective way than staying at Cornell and taking classes all summer and I will get a cultural experience as well. On top of the classes, I'm going to try to organize a CEED somewhere in @CAS. Costa Rica or Panama would be amazing! I have one regret with all of this time abroad. I won't get to spend time in NYC, which is my favorite place in the world. I will miss seeing high school friends and roaming the streets that are so familiar, yet never fail to surprise me with interesting people and events.
Another revelation that I had this week is that i think i'm starting to become slightly obsessed with Brazil. This is a healthy obsession in my opinion. I just watched City of God last night (amazing movie) and I realized how much I miss hearing the nasal chant of Brazilian Portuguese and the laid back lifestyle. Alas, I will be able to return at some point. If only i had all the money to travel with every whim.
Finals are approaching and they scare me!
Snoop will be at Cornell in 3 days.
Holla!!
