Inspired

I'm writing my fist cheesy "I'm inspired" update. It's hard to eliminate the cheese because it's true.

OK so here is the run down.

Last night after a sleepless weekend and a seven hour drive, I sat down and reflected on what had just happened and what will happen in the future.

I had just returned from fall east coast ROKS 2005 in DC, realizing that I was one of a few that just gave about 6 new members the opportunity to become true aiesecers, rather than just coming into our organization using the services and exiting. Why was this? We all had a great time at the conference, met new interesting people, and learned valuable things from the sessions that we could not have learned at home.

I'm really inspired by the motivation of some of my new members coming off the conference and I'm looking forward to creating a strong aiesec community at Cornell. I'm also very motivated by the passion of leaders in other local communities. Rochelle, Andrew Martin and the DC squad, Sad, everyone from Yale, Izaz.... I think everyone has such amazing vision and puts this vision into action, which in this world is remarkable and the sign of true change agents.

The future looks bright right now, for both the long-term and the short-term. AIESEC Cornell is thriving at the moment which gives me a lot of satisfaction and relief. Also, I'm looking forward to my trip to Israel and Egypt this winter. There, if all goes to plan, I will meet up with Arnaub and Mike Williams, as well as meet many important and amazing aiesecers from around the world. I can't wait!

School sucks and i must return to trying to study.

My blogs are all over the place and i refuse to edit my stream of consciousness, so good luck following.
